New Greece coach Fernando Santos included three uncapped players on Monday in his 22-man squad for the friendly against Serbia in Belgrade on August 11.

Santos, who took over from German coach Otto Rehhagel after the World Cup finals where they exited in the first round, has called up 22-year-old Panathinaikos midfielder Stergos Marinos, 20-year-old midfielder Savvas Gentzoglou of AEK Athens and Olympiakos' 21-year-old midfielder Giannis Papadopoulos for his first game in charge.

The Portuguese coach left out eight of the squad that went to the finals in South Africa, two of whom are injured.

He produced another surprise with the selection of 32-year-old AEK midfielder Pantelis Kafes who had not been selected since February 2008.

Santos called up seven players from Greek champions Panathinaikos.
