Ejide makes a brilliant stop from Aboutrika's close range shot after a brilliant cross from the maurauding Barakat

Barakat goes wide with an attempted chip after put into a goal scoring position by Moateb's quick-thinking pass

Sabeur Trabelsi is the last change for Etoile taking the place of Mohamed Jedidi

Motaeb has his shot saved by Ejide at the end of an intricate build-up involving the pace of Barakat

A glancing header from Wael Gomaa at the end of an Al Ahly corner goes narrowly wide

The MTN CAF Champions League title now looks headed to Al Ahly as captain Osama Hosni, brought back into the team for the second leg, drives the ball home from close range to extend the home side's lead, sending the crowd into near delirium

Al Ahly's Hassan Mostafa is cautioned for a reckless tackle in midfield, the first player booked in the game

46th minute:
The second half gets underway, after a delay to deal with a hole in the side of the net of one of the goals, with Etoile Sahel needing a goal if they are to get back into the contest. There are no changes made at the break

A cynical tackle on Osama Hosni is committed by Etoile defender Lotfi Sellemi but he only gets away with a verbal warning from the referee

35th minute:
Etoile Sahel are now chasing shadows as the Egyptian giants look in total control

32nd minute:
Al Ahly's left winger Gilberto cannot continue after picking up a muscle strain and is replaced by Mohamed Abdelwahab

30th minute:
Al Ahly defenders are now also getting in on the attacking action as Ahmed El Sayed, who has given up the captaincy to Osama Hosni, strides forward and shoots, forcing Ejide into a difficult save

27th minute:
Barakat is again proving dangerous for Al Ahly down the right wing but his attempted cross is easily dealt with

23rd minute:
A long range free kick from Etoile is blocked by the Al Ahly defence, who stole ground before the effort was taken
 

22nd minute: Al Ahly, galvanised by their goal, draw Ejide out of the goal but Mohamed Barakat's drive across the face of the goal eludes all Al Ahly's onrushing strikers

20th minute:
GOAL - AL AHLY 1 ETOILE 0: A speculative drive from Mohamed Aboutrika swerves and dips as it flies through the air and catches Ejide by surprise to give the home side the lead and finally break the deadlock in the final

19th minute:
Hassan Mostafa has the first shot on goal for Al Ahly but there is no real power to test Austin Ejide in Etoile's goal

Mohamed Jedidi's shot from outside the penalty area is blocked as the Tunisian continue a much more attacking approach than they showed in the first leg

14th minute:
Al Ahly finally get into the game by forcing two quick corners in succession but both are thwarted by the visitors' defence

13th minute:
Etoile captain Kais Zouaghi goes off for treatment but is quickly back on the pitch

6th minute:
The Tunisian visitors continue their early aggression with Opara firing at the goalkeeper from a tight angle but Al Hadari makes a good stop

4th minute:
Etoile Sahel have the first free kick of the game which Marouane Bokri knocks hopefully into the penalty area and finds the head of Emeka Opara, whose effort is over the top of the goal

Burkina Faso referee Lassina Pare gets play underway as Al Ahly and Etoile Sahel continue their battle for the MTN CAF Champions League
