| First choice goalkeeper who finally secured a move overseas in 2005, albeit to the obscurity of Israeli club football. Made his national team debut just before the 2002 World Cup finals and played in the tournament in Japan against England. Also played in all six of Nigeria's matches at the last MTN Africa Cup of Nations finals in Tunisia. Captained Enyimba to their success in the CAF Champions League final in 2004 and was also a member of the wining side in 2003. He was an ever present for Nigeria at the finals in Egypt and played every minute of their MTN Africa Cup of Nations campaign. |
