Humberto Coelho will sign a two year contract and take over his new job as Tunisia coach on July 1, the Tunisian Football Federation said on Friday.

The details of Coelho’s employment follow his appointment on Monday as the successor to Roger Lemerre, who leaves the job at the end of the month after six years in charge.

Coelho will sign his contract on June 19, the Tunisian federation said, but would travel to watch the team play a World Cup qualifier in the Seychelles on Saturday.

Tunisia suffered a surprise 2-1 home defeat against Burkina Faso on Sunday in their opening match of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
