February 12, 2008

German side Hamburg SV are insisting Egypt international Mohamed Zidan makes a swift return to the club just days after winning the MTN Africa Cup of Nations.

The Bundesliga outfit have a UEFA Cup clash against FC Zurich on Thursday, and coach Huub Stevens wants the striker to be a part of the team.

Zidan said he needs a rest but since the club needs his service, he has cut short participation in the celebrations in Cairo.

"I have to get back to Germany immediately because the club officials insist that I return before Thursday," the 26 year-old player said.
