Sudan coach Mohamed Abdallah says his side is set to beat neighbors Egypt in their decisive Group C match.

“We will definitely look much better than our first match against Zambia,” he stated.

The Sudanese were thrashed 3-0 by Zambia in their opening group match in Kumasi, while Egypt beat Cameroon 4-2.

“Our match against Zambia was tough,” he explained.

“We were under huge pressure because this was our first match in the MTN Africa Cup of Nations finals in 32 years.

“But it will be totally different when we challenge Egypt.

“We know them very well and our clubs beat the Egyptians in CAF competitions last year.

“They wont have any edge upon us and now that we are released from the tension. We will beat the Egyptians.”

The optimistic coach also believes that beating the Egyptians will be his key to the second round.

“If we beat Egypt, then we can certainly outclass Cameroon.”

The Sudan coach has decided to drop his star striker Faisal Agab following his poor form in the first match against Zambia.
