Kenya completed their expected rout of the Seychelles in the World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday, adding four goals in the second leg in Nairobi to the three they scored in Friday’s first leg.

The Harambee Stars advance to the next phase with a 7-0 aggregate triumph and will now face Malawi, Nigeria and the winner of the tie between Namibia and Djibouti in the group phase starting in June.

With a handy 3-0 advantage from the first leg in the Seychelles, Kenya were expected to field a second string outfit but opted to keep several key players in place for the return at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Brian Mandela broke through the Pirates defence after 20 minutes and Dennis Oliech followed up with a second goal just before the interval.

Straight after the break Titua Malama made it 3-0 to the Kenyans who then added a fourth from Victor Wanyama in the 76th minute.

It was a convincing return to the helm for coach Francis Kimanzi in his second spell in charge of the national side.
