Mozambique, Zimbabwe in stalemate
Mozambique and Zimbabwe had to settle for a share of the spoils after they drew 0-0 in their 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Maputo on Sunday.
Both sides needed a win after opening round defeats to Egypt and Guinea respectively, but had to settle for a point that really helps neither cause.
The home side had the better of the chances, but could not convert, much to the dismay of the partisan crowd in the stadium.
The results continues the poor run of Zimbabwe under coach Rahman Gumbo, and they now face Burundi in the second leg of a 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Harare next weekend, trailing 2-1 from the first game.
Mozambique host Tanzania in their second leg tie, with the teams locked at 1-1.
