Liberia sit bottom
Liberia hold up the bottom of Group J after playing to a goalless draw against Angola in a 2014 World Cup qualifier at the Antoinette Tubman stadium in Monrovia on Sunday afternoon.
With neither side able to find a goal Liberia sit at the bottom of the group with a single point while Angola are placed third with two points after two draws from their opening two qualifying matches.
Chances were few and far between in the match which lacked any significant goal mouth action. Instead, it was a game of miss-placed passes and wasted opportunities in the final third of the field.
Senegal top the group with four points after playing to a 1-1 draw with Uganda in Kampala on Saturday. Consequently, Uganda are placed second with two points in this tightly placed qualifying group.
The remaining qualifying matches in Group J will take place in 2013 with the first for Liberia being against Uganda on March 22nd while Senegal will host Angola on the same day.
