Zambia take down Ghana

The Chipolopolo, who suffered a 2-0 setback to Sudan in their opening game of Group D, won the game to keep up with the group leaders.
The home side won the game with a 15th minute goal when defender John Boye put the ball into his own net.
Zambia captain Christopher Katongo crossed from the right and Boye's effort to clear left Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey with no chance.
The Black Stars were lucky not to have conceded more goals as Emmanuel Mayuka's header in the box wet narrowly wide.
Katongo also had an opportunity to extend the home side's lead but Isaac Vorsah blocked his shot at the edge of the box.
Ghana's only clear chance fell to young striker Jordan Ayew but his showboating in the box allowed the Zambians to clear.
The Black Stars returned from the break more purposeful with Sulley Muntari and Agyemang Badu trying to open some space in the Zambian defence but Stoppila Sunzu and Hichani Himonde at the heart of the Chipolopolo were resolute.
Coach James Appiah replaced Kwadwo Asamoah with talented youngster Christian Atsu as the Black Stars continued to seek to unlock the Zambian defence.
Derek Boateng also made way for Anthony Annan before crowd favourite Jonas Sakuwaha took Mayuka's place in the 67th minute.
Atsu attempted to weave through the Zambian defence but he was bizzarely shown the yellow card when he was brought down at the edge of the box which drew wild applause from the partizan home crowd.
Vorsah stood resolute in the Ghana defence as he twice stopped Katongo from counter attacks before captain Muntari was replaced by Richard Mpong.
Zambia coach Herve Renard responded to the Ghana changes with Felix Katongo making way for Francis Kasonde.
Ghana made late attempts to equalise but Jordan Ayew's over elaboration on the ball let the Black Stars down.
A swift counter attack from the Zambians left Isaac Chansa with just Kwarasey to beat but he fired wide in the box late in the game
But another controversial decision by the Tunisian official led to protests by the Ghanaian players as Harrison Afful was brought down at the edge of the box yet he waved play on.
Zambia are now level on three points with group leaders Ghana and Sudan who play whipping boys Lesotho on Sunday.
The Black Stars are top of the group thanks to their better goal difference.
Ghana is not going anywhere as far as the world cup is concerned. The players are not committed enough to make an impact , instead they're more worried about using juju to get their fellow players from making it to the line up. How can you breed success out of hatred. It's impossible and Ghana and their players are no exception.
