At 22 years of age Nicklas Bendtner is the star of the Danish side and will be looked too to almost single handedly lead his side to the next round.

The striker has been in sublime form for his English club Arsenal this season and many will expect the same for Denmark. Bendtner is big and quick but has a deft touch on the floor.

He has the ability to link midfield and attack with intelligence and then finish off the move with precision as well. His ability for his country is also in no doubt starting his national team career by scoring three goals in three starts for the Denmark under-16 national team.

He then scored six goals in 15 games for the Denmark under-17 national team. The young striker made his debut for the senior team at only 18 years old and even managed to a goal after 30 minutes.
