GB too strong for Cameroon
Brazil's Marta up against Cameroon's Raissa Feudjio
Cameroon have dropped out of contention in
the 2012 London Olympics Women’s Tournament after a 3-0 loss to hosts Great
Britain on Sunday.
Following their 5-0 loss in their
tournament opener to Brazil, Cameroon are now mathematically out of the competition
with Great Britain and Brazil have secured their knockout places.
Kim Little, Jill Scott and Casey Stoney
were on target for Great Britain, with the Cameroon side outclassed on the day.
They will now look forward to their final
match against New Zealand on Tuesday, a chance for them to bow out with some
pride.
