The Nigeria star told MTNFootball.com that his club have nothing to lose on Saturday, but rather Bayern Munich will be under pressure to win at the home ground of the Allianz Arena in Munich.
Mikel said playing at home could well be counter productive for Bayern as they will be under pressure to win as they are playing in front of their home fans and that the fact that they lost German Cup to Borussia Dortmund could also work against them.
"Playing at home is supposed to be an advantage to Bayern but that can also work against them because they will surely be the ones playing under pressure to impress their home fans.
“But we will just go in play our normal game, we have nothing to lose because people have rated us as the underdogs, it is good for us. “We are set for the epic clash, we will win it.
He continued: “Losing German Cup will also affect on them. We have upper hand to win it. If we can do it against Barcelona which is rated as the best team in the world, Bayern too will go down. “They have a good team but we are equal to the task."
