Mikel Obi has said Chelsea expect a tougher test at Barcelona in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final after they won the first tie 1-0.

A Didier Drogba stunner in first half stoppage time proved to be the difference between Chelsea and favourites Barcelona at Stamford Bridge Wednesday night.

"Honestly, we had a great performance against Barcelona. It was a tough game and they too know they faced a strong opposition in us and it is obvious the second leg will be tougher,” Mikel told MTNFootball.com

The Nigeria midfielder said ‘The Blues’ are satisfied with their slim advantage ahead of their visit to Camp Nou next week.

“We are happy with the result because we are ahead of them and have the advantage to progress,” said Mikel, who has enjoyed a new lease of life under caretaker coach Roberto di Matteo and played the full game on Wednesday.

“We have to do our best in the second leg as we did in the first game. We will try to get a goal there first, then that will be the end. We remain focused on the game."

Mikel was adjudged the best passer of the ball for Chelsea as the English Premier League club put up a battling performance to shut out World Footballer of the Year Lionel Messi and defeat the defending champions.
