Brazilian reports have suggested that Santos have made their final offer to Milan for Robinho for a figure of around €7m but it is understood both player and club is unhappy.

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani confirmed that the striker had requested a return to his homeland of Brazil and above all his former club, but it is understood that negotiations have hit a few hiccups.

Reports have suggested that the Rossoneri have already turned down one bid in which Milan’s €10m price-tag was not met.

According to the Brazilian media, Santos made their ‘final offer’ of €7m and a pay worth of €3.6m per season but it is believed the former Manchester City striker wants €4.8m as his salary cut.

It is also understood that Fluminese, Flamengo and other clubs are said to make a bid.

Robinho made a six-month return to Santos in 2010 after failing to adapt to the Manchester City surrounds before making the switch to Milan at the start of the 2010/2011 campaign.
