Injured Nigeria international Joel Obi has expressed delight to return to training with his Italian Serie A side Inter Milan.
   
"It has not been easy, every player hates injury so with me. I am happy that I am back to training. I will soon be fully fit to start playing. I have missed the game, but I will be back and better," Obi told MTNFootball.com
   
Obi, who has been overlooked by Nigeria on account of the injury, was part of his team training Monday at Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti and he is said to be close to full fitness.
   
According to the information on the club official website, the Nigerian International who has been sideline for more than two months is close to full fitness.
   
“Every day they edge closer to full fitness. Ricky Alvarez, Macdonald Mariga, Joel Obi, Andrea Romano' and Dejan Stankovic are all keen to get back playing for Inter as they trained this morning (Monday) at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti,” the club statement read.
