Asamoah was once again the master to the puppet show he conducted with Chelsea, in which he grabbed another assist off Arturo Vidal’s strike in the second half.
The Ghanaian midfielder has only received positive plaudits since arriving in Turin and his display at the Juventus Stadium proved no different.
“We knew that if we managed to put our preparations into practice then we could cause Chelsea plenty of problems - and that’s precisely how it went,” he said after the game.
“We all played a great game and gained a deserved victory. Vidal’s goal? I saw everyone moving towards goal and spotted Arturo unmarked in the centre.”
