Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has shut down talk linking Aleksandar Kolarov to Inter, stating ‘I want to keep him’.
Kolarov has been constantly linked with a return to Serie A after falling down the pecking order to Gael Clichy this season and it was thought a move away from Manchester would be on the cards.
“He is a great quarterback, I would like to keep him,” Mancini told Sky Sports24. “We have so many good players and many want them, it means we have done our job well.
“We know his value and we want to keep him.”
The Serbian made his move from Lazio to City in 2010, featuring 12 times for the Citizens this season.
