Pato thanks PSG, commits to Milan
Alexandre Pato, AC Milan
Alexandre Pato has thanked the likes of Paris-Saint Germain for showing interest in him but he has decided to commit his future to the Rossoneri, ‘I want to honour my contract.’
The 22-year-old has been constantly linked with a big-money move away from the San Siro based club to the French outfit following two seasons plagued by injury.
However, Pato has admitted that he will stay at Milan and has finally overcome his injury troubles.
“Milan have also had other offers for me as well as that of the PSG. I thank everyone but I'm staying at Milan, I want to honor my contract and repay the faith,” he told r7.com.
“I also received several proposals from Brazilian clubs, but it is not the time to go, I am only 22 years old.”
With 14 different muscular injuries in the space of ten months, many feared that there would be no way back for the troubled Brazilian, but Pato insists that he has overcome his injury troubles.
“They found an imbalance in the adductor muscles of the thigh and I had a specific treatment to solve it. I am sure that eventually it left some bruises.
“The strength comes from me being able to overcome a tumor when I was little.”
