Juventus will kick off their season against Parma at the Juventus Stadium for the second year running.

The two teams got their campaigns underway last season in the same fashion, as Parma became the first Serie A team to play a competitive match in the new stadium, while Simone Pepe, Arturo Vidal, Stephan Lichsteiner and Claudio Marchisio found the back of the net.

The 4-1 drilling of the Ducali, in front of a sellout crowd, arguably set the tone for the Bianconeri’s season as they went on to remain undefeated a win the Scudetto title.

“As luck always plays a key role in football, we hope to start this championship as we did in the last year” stated Juventus’ sporting director Giuseppe Marotta.

Serie A will start on the weekend of August 25/26 and the three-year wait of the return of the Derby delle Mole against Torino will take place on Week 15.
