Beppe Acardi has revealed that it was his ‘humility’ which drew him into bringing in Ibrahima M’baye into Inter’s youth system.

The defender was scouted by the Inter management in his home town in Senegal, where he was brought over to Italy to be a part of Inter’s youth system and this season he has been promoted to Andrea Stramaccioni’s first team.

"I discovered M'baye in Senegal, where there are many guys who really want to play,” Acardi told Sky Sport.

“I was very impressed by his humility; he knows that without sacrifice it does not get you anywhere.

“He had the luck to come in at the youth level, which is first in the world. He found a family at Inter.

“He has a humility that I hope to see in all the kids like him. He is a champion inside and since arriving in Italy he never talked about money. Four years ago he arrived at Inter, and now has joined the first team.”

Since training with the Nerazzurri first team, M’baye has received numerous praise from his fellow teammates.
