Juventus have officially announced the signing of Ghana’s Richmond Boakye in a co-ownership deal which will see him partner Kwadwo Asamoah.

The youngster joined the Old Lady from Serie B loan club, Sassuolo and after an impressive campaign with 12 goals in 34 appearances, he was spotted by Juventus.

Boakye is the second Ghanaian to sign for the Bianconeri this summer and he is expected to form a great partnership with Asamoah.

“Young Ghanaian prospect Richmond Boakye has officially completed a transfer to Juventus. The striker will move to Turin on a co-ownership basis after terms were agreed with Genoa,” Juventus wrote on their website.

The 19-year-old came through Genoa’s youth ranks, where he won the Scudetto, Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups with the Rossoblu before making his Serie A debut in 2010.
