Juventus have reportedly beaten Manchester City to Brazilian starlet Leonardo Bonatini of Cruziero.

The English team was favourites to net the hot property of the 18-year-old, but it has since been reported that the Bianconeri have gained ownership but are just waiting for the transfer documents to arrive.

Bonatini did announce he will be joining the Old Lady in what he has labeled as a ‘vida nova’, the new life and is set to begin life in Juventus’ youth system shortly.

‘Leo’ is one of the most promising prospects on the international stage after his impressive performance in the under-17 World Cup and could be seen as a first team player in about two years’ time.
