Inter hoping for Samuel comeback
Inter’s latest victim to injury, Walter Samuel, is hoping to be back in time for the Champions League match against Olympique Marseille.
The defender was forced into an early substitution (at half time) during the 4-0 drubbing by Roma, in which he underwent various tests on Monday confirming he has picked up a thigh strain.
The Nerazzurri’s official website announced that the extent of Samuel’s damages to his left thigh was in between a first and second degree tear.
The Beneamata are hoping that the player will be able to make it back in time for the Champions League clash on February the 22nd, which will be played in France.
Meanwhile, new arrival Juan Jesus had his first training session with the squad and is hoping to soon be implemented in the squad to ease off the pressure of injured players.
