No clubs interested in Ambrosini
Massimo Ambrosini, AC Milan
The veteran midfielder’s future still remains unclear as his contract is set to expire come June 31, but he is said to be hoping for a similar deal to that of which saw him extend his contract for one more year.
A new policy was implemented at Milanello in June last year, in which the club now offers the players over 30 a year long extension and no more.
“Ambrosini wants Milan,” noted his agent Moreno Roggi on Radiocalciomercato.
“But we will discuss everything in May, like we did last year. At the moment there are no clubs interested in him, but I repeat he wants only Milan.”
The Rossonero captain has been at the for 16 years and was offered a one year extension in June last year in which Gianluca Zambrotta, Clarence Seedorf and Pippo Inzaghi were all offered the same deal, with Andrea Pirlo opting to leave.
