Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed that ‘no one has asked me’ about Angelo Ogbonna’s possible Milan future.

The young defender has been considerably linked with a move to the San Siro outfit for the past twelve months, and while the volume of the speculation seems to be on the increase, Cairo has confirmed there is yet to be a proposal.

“Ogbonna? [Adriano] Galliani is looking for a central defender but no one has asked me about it,” the president noted while addressing other questions about Torino’s transfer market.

The Nigerian-born Italian was an influential player in helping the Toro return to Serie A, and it seems he will be the likelier candidate to replace the departed Thiago Silva who left for Paris Saint-Germain.
