Boateng-less Milan head to Turin
Milan will be without the services of Boateng
The match against Torino will take place at the Stadio Olimpico, with kick-off at 16h00 (CAT).
Although it may have taken two and half months, Massimiliano Allegri’s men are finally starting to find their feet this season, having booked their spot in the final 16 of the Champions League and now sit in seventh place.
Their rise up the table has been instrumented by a morale boosting win over Juventus, in addition to having only lost only once in their last seven domestic games.
Milan’s latest victory came in a 3-1 win at the daunting ground of the Angelo Massimino Stadium in Catania, in which Stephan El Shaarawy struck a brace in what was a bitter-sweet ending for Boateng.
The Ghanaian put his side 2-1 up with a sublime effort into the top corner- marking his debut strike of the season- only for his night to end in frustration after he saw red for the second time this term.
Boateng will serve his one match suspension on Sunday afternoon in which the Dutch touch of Urby Emanuelson or the Spanish flare of Bojan Krkic is set to come in and take his place.
Torino, on the other hand, was left bitterly frustrated in their last outing, where they fell to a 3-0 defeat to Juventus in their first Derby della Mole since 2008.
A red card to Kamil Glik evidently changed the face of the game at the Juventus Stadium and he, too, will be absent from the encounter in order to serve a one-match suspension.

The Turin outfit is currently sitting seven places below the Rossoneri - lingering just above the daunting drop zone.
Having last tasted victory over Milan 21 years ago, they will need to pull something quite spectacular out of the hat in order to give their home fans something to smile about.
