Turin welcomes Derby della Mole

The match between the first Turin clubs will be the first of the season and it will take place on Saturday evening at 21h45 (CAT).
Traditionally a derby which symbolizes a division of class between the two outfits, Juventus have already staked their claim on who is the ‘stronger’ team in Italy as they sit in top spot and 17 points above their cousins.
The Bianconeri traditionally have the upper hand in the encounter having seen them register 75 wins next to Torino’s 55, but they are fresh off a defeat to Milan which could very well be the dummy the Granata will hope to use.
Capitalizing on Juve’s mental state from the loss, not to mention the latest bought of injuries to hit the squad, could fall in favour of the ‘away’ side.
Giorgio Chiellini and Simone Pepe missed out on the match against the Rossoneri and it still seems unlikely that they will be fit to start.
Latest blows to Martin Caceres could see Lucio or Luca Marrone come in, whilst Arturo Vidal’s injury could force Kwadwo Asamoah inside or welcome the introduction of Paul Pogba- who seems to thrive under pressure.
Torino have no major absentees to worry about and it should be an interesting battle to see how Giampiero Ventura’s 4-2-4 formation will match up to the congested midfield of Juventus’ 3-5-2.
Torino have not claimed a win over Juventus since doing the double over them back in the 1994/1995 season and some would say they are long overdue maximum points after so often pulling off valiant displays against their rivals.
