Sampdoria beat already crowned Serie A champions Juventus 3-2 in the final game of the season at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Saturday evening.

Serie A TIM is Italy’s top flight football division and features 20 teams, with Sampdoria, Pescara and Torino the latest to be promoted.

Juventus, the holder of the most Scudetti in the division, went on a 36-match unbeaten run to win their 28th league title ousting the 2010/11 defending champions AC Milan by just four points.

The new 2012/13 season kicks-off on 26 August 2012 and is set to come to a conclusion on 19 May 2013.
