Chedjou extends Lille deal

Lille defender Aurelien Chedjou has extended his contract with the Ligue 1 side until 2016, the French club announced on Monday.
The 27-year-old Cameroonian international, who arrived in north-eastern France in January 2007, has extended his contract by a season.
"His athletic power, remarkable technique, his sense of position, anticipation and recovery have today made the native of Douala a leading player, esteemed by his peers," Lille said in a statement.
Chedjou was described as "one of the driving forces of Lille today and in the future".
