Fletcher to train with Scotland squad
Fletcher is now on his way back to playing competitive football for the first time since November
Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is to train with the Scotland squad later this week as he continues with his battle to get back to full fitness.
The 28-year-old's career looked under threat after club boss Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that the Scotland captain was yet to return to training following a long-standing chronic bowel complaint.
But Scotland manager Craig Levein, who named his squad for the upcoming friendly with Australia this morning, confirmed Fletcher is now on his way back to playing competitive football for the first time since November.
