An elated Lawal told MTNFootball.com that he is happy to be champion for the second season running in Spain having led Belearas to Segunda B at end of last season.
He is now looking forward to win the playoffs for a ticket to the Segunda A.
"We have won the league. This is my second time of becoming a champion after we won league to be promoted to Segunda B,” he said.
“My target after becoming champion is to win the playoff for the promotion ticket to Segunda A in my group."
The playoffs in the Beleares group will involve Athletico Beleares, Cadiz, who parade former Nigeria U17 star Kabiru Akinsola, Real Madrid Castilla and Mirandes.
Lawal has netted seven goals this season so far with the last being a goal against Denia last weekend.
