Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has said French club Lille are in touch with Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv over a loan move.

Enyeama is still not first choice at Lille amid speculations that he could be shipped out on loan for him to enjoy regular first-team football in the new season.

“Yes, they (Maccabi Tel Aviv) are in contact with my club (Lille), but for now nothing is signed, sealed and delivered. It's possible (to sign for Maccabi) because everything is possible in life," Enyeama said on a short visit to Israel.

However, the Eagles first choice insisted he was only back to his former base to relax.

“I'm not here for Maccabi, I'm just here for some good time. I'm here because we have two or three days off, so I have to use it. I don't quite understand why everyone is asking (me) about Maccabi,” he said.

Reports have suggested he will this week undergo a medical with Maccabi Tel Aviv as a season-long loan deal worth 300,000 Euros has been agreed with Lille.

Enyeama featured for another Israel club Hapoel Tel Aviv before he joined Lille last season.
