With Sergio Busquets ruled out due to suspension, the Cameroon international was able to play in his natural position in the midfield and had a great game offensively and defensively.
The 25-year-old is now part of the list of African players who have managed to find the back of the net for Barca, which includes his countryman Samuel Eto’o.
The other players are Ivory Coast’s Yaya Toure, Mali’s Seydou Keita and Nigerian attacker Emmanuel Amunike.
