France striker Karim Benzema says he is satisfied with their 1-1 draw against England, although he believes they could’ve won.

Samir Nasri scored the equalizer for Les Bleus after England had taken the lead through Joleon Lescott.

“We could have won. It was an important match and we faced a tough team,” said Benzema.

“It doesn't matter. A draw is fine if we can win against Ukraine.”

The Real Madrid player also admitted that they are trying to be more patient with their attacks, and to keep more ball possession.

“Of course we want to play like Spain; it's normal,” he said.

“They have a really beautiful game. We try to take one or two touches.”

Laurent Blanc’s men will look to collect maximum points when they face group leaders Ukraine at the Donbass Arena on Friday evening.
