Barca targeting Madrid’s Albiol

The 26-year-old made just 17 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side in all competitions last season.
Despite the lack of game time, Albiol was included in Spain’s squad for the 2012 European Championship in Poland and Ukraine.
Barcelona on the other hand need to strengthen their central defence with Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique often bothered by injuries.
According to a report on Marca.com, Barcelona could offer a sum of 15 million euros for the player who is contracted to the Whites until 2014.
Albiol joined Real Madrid from Valencia in 2009 and was also part of Spain’s World Cup winning squad.
