According to reports Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin could join Arsenal or Liverpool on a loan deal.

The Turkish midfielder joined the Whites at the start of the 2011/12 season from German champions Borussia Dortmund and was compared to former World Player of the Year, Kaka.

However, injuries and tough competition saw him getting limited game time in his first season with the club and he is said to be on his way out of the club to get more experience elsewhere.

Real Madrid are not keen on selling the 23-year-old outright and Spanish newspapers report that Arsenal and Liverpool are leading the race to get his services on a loan deal.

According to Marca, the former Bundesliga player of the Season is keen on joining the Gunners where he will get a chance to play under Arsene Wenger and alongside the likes of Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski.

But, his coach at Madrid, Jose Mourinho, believes he will benefit from joining Liverpool where will work under Brendan Rodgers, who was mentored by the Portuguese coach at Chelsea.
