Pienaar to face Furman
Steven Pienaar’s Everton will play Dean Furman’s Oldham Athletic in round 5 of the FA Cup
The two South Africans will go head-to-head in the next round of the FA Cup after both their respective teams registered nail-biting wins in the fourth round.
Pienaar played a large role in Everton’s 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers , scoring the first goal and also having a hand in creating the second, scored by John John Heitinga in the 91st minute.
For Oldham, they were without Furman who is on duty for South Africa at the 2013 African Cup of Nations, but they still managed a shock 3-2 win over Liverpool.
Now the two sides have been drawn to face each other in the next round of the FA Cup which will take place over the weekend of February 16/17, for which Furman will be back from international duty.
