Chelsea sweat on Mikel
Mikel in race to be fit for Sunday's match

Chelsea are sweating on the fitness of Mikel Obi for the visit
of Blackburn after he failed to train Thursday due to an ankle complaint.
The London club’s final match of the English Premier League will be against Blackburn Rovers at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Nigeria midfielder Mikel missed the team’s last league game away at Liverpool because of this ankle problem.
The player himself said the manager will decide whether he could be risked for Sunday’s tie ahead of the UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich on May 19.
"I did not train Thursday on the instructions of the coach. I was asked to rest the ankle well. No time to take unnecessary risks,” Mikel informed MTNFootball.com
“I am set to play the Champions League final. I am also hoping (Gary) Cahill and David (Luiz) will be fit for the game as they are responding well to treatment."
Luiz and Cahill are also doubts for the Blackburn game as they sat out of Thursday’s training.
Chelsea will miss captain John Terry, Raul Meireles, Branislav Ivanovic and Ramires in Champions league final against Bayern Munich due to suspension, and Mikel admitted it will be disastrous to lose any other player before the Munich final.
"We can't afford to lose any player now. I understand the coach situation, losing Terry, Ivanovic, Ramires and Meireles is massive so we have to stay fit for the game. We will play to win for them," Mikel told MTNFootball.com
