Chelsea thrilled by 'revelation' Omeruo
Kenneth Omeruo
Since he made his debut against Heerenveen last month, the 18-year-old Omeruo has shone for Den Haag, where he is on loan from Chelsea.
Den Haag chief scout, who reports directly to Chelsea technical director Mike Emenalo, has passed down glowing reports on the player who has cemented his first-team place at right back with some five-star displays.
“Omeruo has been a revelation and this the chief scout has communicated to Chelsea,” a top source informed MTNFootball.com
“They are really delighted that he has not only settled down fully but he has already begun making meaningful contributions to his Dutch club.”
Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has already been alerted to the stunning progress of the player.
At the weekend, Omeruo marked out one of the most feared wingers in the Dutch league, Ola John, who was born in Liberia but was only recently capped at full international level by the Netherlands.
The Dutch newspaper AD Haagsche courant would even rate the Nigerian youngster as the best player in his team’s 1-1 home draw with championship contenders FC Twente.
He was the only player rated eight out of 10 marks even though he got a booking for a late tackle on Twente defender Douglas.

Hope He'll come stronger @end of this reason to help our defenceline @ chelsea
