Anichebe could be sold by Everton
Everton may be tempted to sell Nigeria’s Victor Anichebe to raise the cash to make permanent Steven Pienaar’s return, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to want around £5million for the South Africa star, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Everton and he has convinced manager David Moyes enough that he is needed at Goodison Park, reported the Liverpool Post.

Wigan Athletic boss Martinez has eyes on Anichebe as a replacement for want-away Eagles star Victor Moses if he eventually joins Chelsea.

Injuries have restricted the 24-year-old burstling forward, who has three years remaining on his present contract at Everton to just 30 starts in the last four seasons, during which he has netted only eight times.

South Africa midfielder Pienaar, on the other hand, has been superb for The Toffees since he returned on loan in the winter from London club Spurs.
