Tiote enjoying life in England

The Ivorian has previously brushed off speculation linking him with a move away from the North East, and now he has spoken of how much he enjoys life in the area off the pitch.

"I am at home with my family and I can just chill some days for the whole day. But when I want to go out and do some stuff, I can do that as well.
"People here are more friendly than aggressive, so life is all right for me here."
Tiote is one of several French-speaking players from a number of different countries in Alan Pardew's squad, who exceeded many expectations in the Premier League last season.
And, according to Tiote, unity in the dressing room was major factor in their success.
"The French players have settled in, but it's about the team here," he added.
