Arsene Wenger says he has taken some positives from Arsenal's just-ended Asia Tour despite winning just one of their three games.

Wenger told Arsenal’s official website said the pre-season tour was a learning process.

"There are a lot of positives because we had to fight in every game and for the team it was a great experience," Wenger said.

"Seeing different countries, for the players, was absolutely fantastic.

"You can see how much people care about our club - it was a great experience for us.

"We have learned to play when we are tired against good opponents and to dig deep and not lose. That is always good."

Arsenal kicked off their tour on July 24 with a 2-1 win over Malaysia XI in Kuala Lumpur and later lost 2-0 on the 27th to Manchester City in Beijing.

The Gunners wrapped up their Tour on July 29 with a 2-2 draw in Hong Kong against Kitchee FC.
