Mancini fights of Van Persie talk
Roberto Mancini
The Premier League Champions have been heavily linked to make a move for the Dutch striker, whose contract comes to an end in a year and is reluctant to sign a new deal.
But the Italian tactician is avoiding all talk about a possible move and insists he has no intention to sell any of his attacking options.
“Van Persie? He is an Arsenal player and I don’t want to disrespect Arsene Wenger,” Mancini told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have four strikers and we will start the preseason in five days, it’s unlikely there will be major changes in such a short time.
“The same goes for Dzeko, his farewell is not expected. The interest of Juventus for him? It will be difficult that Edin goes away.
“Kolarov? I myself wanted him at City, he is a great player. If it depends on me, he would remain at the City. I’d love to have him again in the next season but I cannot impose myself on his will.
“Tevez will remain here unless he wants to change team,” Mancini concluded.
