Former Chelsea boss AVB set for Spurs
Former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas
The 34-year-old was sacked as manager of Chelsea just four months ago but he is now set to take charge at White Hart Lane, with the manager’s post left vacant after the departure of Harry Redknapp.
Reports in Portugal and England suggest that Villas-Boas has now agreed terms on a three-year deal.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs should confirm his appointment on Tuesday, after he flew into London on Monday evening.
Portuguese sources suggest that Villas-Boas would not be presented to the media until next week, when Tottenham's first-team squad return for pre-season training.
