Victor Moses
English Premier League side Wigan Athletic on Thursday finally accepted Chelsea’s bid for Nigeria international forward Victor Moses.

The statement on the club’s website announced:"The club can confirm that after four unsuccessful bids from Chelsea for Victor Moses, a fifth bid has today finally met the valuation and terms set by Wigan Athletic and has been accepted.

“The player has been given permission to speak with Chelsea."

It is believed that Chelsea would have finally matched the 10 million pounds valuation of the player by Wigan.

While the player and his agent have made it clear they wish for a move, Wigan have stuck to their guns for several weeks insisting they will only sell at the right price.

Incidentally, Moses was a delight to watch against Chelsea in the English Premier League opener at the weekend.

He will earn the praise of Wigan boss Roberto Martinez for his professionalism in that game as he did not allow the transfer speculations around him to affect his performance on the day.

Moses will thus join another Nigeria star Mikel Obi at Stamford Bridge.

Mikel has already said he will make his international teammate feel at home in London.
