The Blues were impressive in comfortably defeating the Latics on Sunday and will be expecting a similarly solid performance when Reading visit Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening with a 20h45 kick-off.
Chelsea will then round off a busy week when they host Newcastle United for a late kick-off of 18h30 CAT on Saturday evening.
The Blues will be looking to avenge the Magpies’ famous 2-0 win in London toward the end of last season when Papiss Demba Cisse scored two sensational goals.
