Yobo to earn millions
Fenerbahçe have announced Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo will earn 2 million Euros a season after he concluded a three-year deal.

In addition, he is entitled to a win bonus of €10,000 a game.

In a statement posted on their official website, the top Turkish club announced: "We have completed the signing of Joseph Yobo from Everton for €2.5 million on a three-year contract.

“Yobo will earn €2 million per-season in addition to a €10,000 per-match bonus.

"We hope the transfer will bring our club success in the future."

Yobo arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, on Friday.

The Nigeria international defender speaking to reporters at the airport said, "It feels good to be here. I want to get back on the pitch. I'm happy to be here, I love the club, I love the fans."

Last season, the 31-year-old centre-back featured in 42 games on loan from Everton and played an integral role for ‘The Yellow Canaries as they finished runners-up in the league despite a rather turbulent year marred by match-fixing allegations and being disqualified from featuring in the UEFA Champions League.

MTNFootball.com revealed exclusively that the transfer will be concluded this weekend after speaking with Yobo's agent John Ola Shittu.
