Bobby Williamson says he is not Herve Renard's nemesis after Uganda beat Angola 3-0 in the latter’s stint there.

Williamson reacquaints himself with Renard for the first time since The Cranes beat Angola in the two sides opening 2012 Africa Cup Group J qualifier.

That match would also turn out to be the Frenchman’s last competitive game in charge of the Palancas Negras on September 4, 2010.

"He will know as much about my tactics as I know about his," Williamson said.

"But it is down to the players on the pitch.

"It's not about the coaches it’s about the players and the referees."

Uganda went on to finish second in Group J one point behind Angola on 11 and 12 points but it was not enough to get The Cranes one of the best three runners-up qualification spots for the Gabon and Equatorial Guinea finals.
