FC Porto defender Emmanuel Mbola has been dropped from Zambia’s 2013 African Youth Championship  final leg qualifier away to Mali on Saturday.

Zambia Under-20 coach Keagan Mumba told MTNFootball.com on Monday evening after the team final training session at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka that Mbola has been dropped due to logistical issues.

"We have dropped Mbola due to logistical reasons because he was supposed to arrive (on Monday) in Zambia get a visa travel Thursday and may arrive in Bamako by Friday but he can’t make it," Mumba said.

The 2010 Africa Cup star was one of three defensive options drafted into the team after the Zambia Under-20's 2-2 draw against Mali in the first leg on September 22 in Kitwe.

Mumba said Mbola has been advised to instead travel to Johannesburg this weekend for senior team training camp  en route to Uganda next week for the sides 2013 Africa Cup final leg qualifier on October 13.

"So the head coach Herve Renard has decided that we leave him out but that he has to report to the senior team camp early," Mumba said.

"And we felt by Sunday he has to be in camp in Johannesburg."

Zambia Under-20 leave for Bamako on Tuesday via Nairobi.

Young Chipolopolo must beat Mali away this weekend to secure their qualification to the African Youth Championship set for Algeria next march.
